- [Errno 104] Connection reset by peer
- Posted by les on January 23rd, 2004
Hello,
I installed RedHat 8.0 on a new Dell server. Everything seems to be running
fine. I can connect to the internet no problem. However, when I reboot this
server I get the following error:

I just wonder if this is a serious problem and how it can be eliminated,
since I'm planning to use this server for WebSphere portal and file server
and it needs to be very stable.
Any help is greatly appreciated,
Les

Looks like some problem with some rhn package, you did apply all
patches available for RH 8.0?
BTW
Support for RH 8.0 has (AFAIK) faded out at 31.12.2003, RH 9 will
just be supported until 31.4.2004. You'd better check for
a supported distro.

Thanks but no. I should really stop posting my replies in question
