If manual conversion is sufficient, then yes, VFP can (I assume) export
and import CSV. Or, on the Linux side, OpenOffice can import and export
dBASE - but there are different flavors of dBASE, so this would need to
be tested to ensure that it works with VFP in particular.

Yes - you're absolutely right. I want to read/write directly with a Foxpro
file rather than just run Foxpro under Wine in Linux. Is it possible?
