Hello All,
Does Gimp use ImageMagick for anything? Certain filters, or
features? It was brought to my attention yesterday that Gimp
must have ImageMagick in order to function, but I don't recall
this being a pre-requisite for Gimp functionality.

I pose the question because if I don't need to install ImageMagick,
it is one less package I will need to administer when setting
up a workstation.
