Alright just for starters i'm a total Linux noob but so far (1 week) I
love it. I first installed Mandrake 9.2 (with Lilo bootloader) based
on a article in MaximumPC and I liked it but I was totaly lost so I
went to the book store and got Linux for dummies which came with a
boot DVD or Fedora core 1 so I decided to install that instead until I
learned my way around a little better so I installed it with the
default Grub bootloader. Now when I reboot I still get the Mandrake
Lilo bootloader screen but it won't go into mandrake because Fedora is
installed. I can still go into Windows XP no problem from the Lilo
screen but Lilo shouldn't even be there. If I use the Fedora rescue
boot floppy I get right into it. If I go into the bootloader gui the
only thing listed is fedora. Any help would be great and I'm sorry
for the long post I suck I know. I was also going to post my current
config info but I couldn't figure out how to get it.
