Hi all ,
I have already registered a domain name and point the domain name to my
IP in register.com . However, what should I do to my linux box for setting ?
Thanks.

A) you want your machine to handle all the domainname-stuff ? (your machine
is nameserver for your domain):
then you need to setup a nameserver on your machine that handles your
domain. The usual nameserver is bind.
B) if you only want to reach your machine under your domain, but the domain
is handled by register.com and their nameserver:
you dont need to do anything. set up all the services you want to offer and
your are fine.
