- Linux Quake2 problem
- Posted by qIroS on February 26th, 2004
I've just discovered my old Quake2 CDs including the rogue pack that I
never played through.
I've tried both the binary RPM from http://www.icculus.org/quake2/ and
rebuilding the SRPM from the same page, but every time I try and run
quake2 (with whatever video driver) I get a Segmentation fault and an
SDL parachute (!)
Trying to get it to work on an AMD XP2000+ with 1GB ram, GeForce3ti on
SuSE 9. I do have the NVidia kernel module loaded.
Do I need something else or is there a better package somewhere?
