- Looking for Presenter in Chicago Area
- Posted by Sam Pro on January 28th, 2004
Hello. I am the president of the Linux Users Group at the University
of Illinois at Chicago. We are planning an InstallFest for mid-March
and are looking for presenters. These gatherings are designed to
promote Linux awareness and to help users with problems and install
questions by allowing them bring in their machines. We try to have a
variety of speakers to help spark interest in people that are "on the
fence".
I was hoping to find some people in the industry that could
contribute, or may be able to put me in touch with some PR people. I
would like to hear from you if you have any ideas. We really want to
put together something good this semester.
Thanks,
Sam Pro
