Designed and released by Morris, the son of the developer of the Unix password and
other security stuff. It attacked sendmail, and shut down most of the net, a lot
because people disconnected from the net and then could not find out how to
disable it. It attacked sendmail. What happened is that the hole he used was shut
( and he went to jail). This was the start of the security push by Unix people.
Not that all holes are shut, but more so.
