- Minor Mandrake 9.2 problems (Nedit and Icewm)
- Posted by Joe Blow on February 2nd, 2004
I recently installed Mandrake 9.2 and am mostly happy with it.
There are a few irritations I would like to remedy, however and one is that
nedit will not use any window colors other than black on white. I have
read the documentation for nedit and attempted to make the recommended
changes, without success. Even the commandline options -bg and -fg affect
the menu, frame as so forth but not the window.
Another is the inability to change the background color in Icewm: the
setting in Iceprefs has no effect. This is rather minor, but I wonder if
this is an issue with Icewm or Mandrake.
Any help and/or thoughts on why these things behave in this manner and how
to change them would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
