Need DVD burning program

After a long battle with technology, arromdee@violet.rahul.net (Ken Arromdee), an earthling, wrote:

The only programs to actually _burn_ DVDs are:
a) cdrecord and
b) cdrdao
c) dvdrecord
All of which are command-line-controlled applications.
