- Password directory
- Posted by Adam on August 19th, 2003
Hi,
I must preface my message by saying that I've been using Linux for a
grand total of 2 weeks. I love it! But obviously I don't know
exactley what I'm doing yet.
Heres my question... I am running Apache webserver with Bind DNS. I
have a CGI script running on a local intranet server. The install
readme asks that you password a certain directory associated with the
CGI script. I have messed with the permissions but I can't get it to
prompt me for a password. Any ideas? This folder needs to be read
and executed by ALL and writen to only by Owner (755).
Thanks for your help!
