- PTP (digital camera) filesystem for Linux available
- Posted by Daniel Kulp on January 16th, 2004
I just wanted to announce that I've created a filesystem for Linux that
talks to PTP protocol based digital cameras. It's in VERY VERY
early stages, but it more or less does what I want it to do: copy pictures
off of my Kodak DX6440 camera from my desktop WITHOUT any special software
like gtkam or ghoto or similar. Basically, browse into my automounted
/mnt/camera directory and copy the files.
More details and the download are at:

Comments and testers and bugs and such are all welcome!
