ok here's my problem.
i have a HP laserjet 1000 printer connected to a windows me machine.
at the client side i am using Linux Redhat 8.0 machine.

in order to print to the windows machine, ive configured my
/etc/printcap using the printconf GUI. iam using a postscript driver
for printing.

iam able to see the printer share through smbclient (smbclient -L
//printer)

when i give a print from my linux machine, i dont get anything printed
on the printer. but i can see the document in the windows machine
printer spool. that ensures that the document has arrived at the
windows machine. the printer prints when i issue print from other
windows machine.

iam almost certain that the problem is at the windows side.
any suggestions in this regard would be highly appretited.
