Samsung monitor problem

Samsung monitor problem: Posted by Antonio Garcia on March 7th, 2004; Has anyone had any luck getting a Samsung flat-panel Syncmaster 174v
working with RH linux? I just upgraded to RH 9.0 from 7.2 hoping whatever
new compatibility features would make it work, but alas, I get no video
sync, and haven't the foggiest what to do about it. Thanks, A.
