Is there ANY value to NT???
Posted by Juan Sebastian Gómez on November 30th, 2003

You are WRONG
NT can crash 5 times a day, corrupt your NTFS twice a year, make you upgrade
your IIS every week because m$ coders just can't create an algorithm to
parse malformed URLs without crashing, force you to disable the incoming
FTP directory because you have to reboot and scandisk everytime some
asshole uploads a file called " _ %/.*-1234c" ...

So, try to do that with GNU/Linux, ha??
See?? Windoze is better i knew it!!!!

I thought they were pretty honest opinions. Most of them could be
boiled down to, "It's a toy OS", which some of us have been saying for
a long time. You appear to agree, as one of its greatest strengths for
you is it runs a neat train simulator game.

Wouldn't you be better off with Nintendo, Playstation, & etc?

| Yes. The client believes that he has someone (M$) to blame and sue

|
|
| Jeff> Just what is the attraction?

| Brand name. Most people still believe that M$ is the greatest s/w

| Ignorance. And FUD for a change.

yep there is - some usb scanners use a firmware loader that doesnt exist
for linux, so boot into windows, plug in scanner, reboot computer into
linux, and scan away
