- USB problem, system freezes
- Posted by Steve on October 7th, 2003
Hi,
I am running Mandrake 9.1 and have a USB problem which I cannot overcome.
When I am booting the system up and the USB Speaker are connected the system
hangs at the message 'finding module dependencies'. When I remove the
speakers the system boots up fine. But when I manually insert the modules
(audio.o) for the USB Speakers and connect those the systems freezes up.
I checked the IRQ setting and everything looks just fine. In older
Mandrake distros the speakers worked just fine. Does anybody have an idea?
Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks
Steve
