- w3m and Eye of Gnome
- Posted by A. S. Budden on June 26th, 2003
Hi there, I occasionally use w3m to look at web pages (it loads quicker
than mozilla), with the "display inline images" option turned off. In
the options menu, I have the "external command to display image"
parameter set to "/usr/bin/display" without the quotes.
Can anyone explain then, why when I hit "I" to view an image, it tries
to load it in Eye of Gnome instead (which crashes when it starts for
some other mysterious reason)? ImageMagick's "display" is fast and
good, so I'd be very happy with this...
