Job advertisements on international technical newsgroups are not

There are many permitted newsgroups with "jobs" in their names.

I recommend that newsgroup users send objections to the above email
address, and generally frustrate any attempts by the original
poster to receive meaningful responses.

Chuck, now you're just lying. I don't usually tell people they're
lying; it's not very nice, it tends to shed more heat than light. How
about, you are seriously misinformed, and you've taken your missionary
zeal about suppressing job posts way too far. Two counter-examples for
your consideration: comp.compilers is a moderated group, and it runs a
WEEKLY summary of job posts relating to compilers.
comp.games.development.industry is chartered as the preferred newsgroup
for game job posts in the c.g.d.* hierarchy. There are other examples
in the tech newsgroups if you're willing to look for them. And, we've
been over the charter for comp.arch.embedded recently. It neither
condones nor prohibits job posts.

I'm one of the people who appreciates relevant job posts from actual
human recruiters that do earn their money. My $0.02 and everyone can
throw their own hat in the ring.
