Hi,
anyone know how the sparc %psr register can be addressed, or where it is located in memory space.
As i understansd, at one point, there aer 24 windowed registers and 8 global registers available to the executable. Are the %psr and all part of this or seperate from these.

thanks
deepak

The psr is a separate register.

PSR is a register totally separate from the windowed general registers.

For more information, see http://www.sparc.com/standards/V8.pdf.
