- uClinux or Netburner Coldfire module ?
- Posted by Sagaert Johan on April 6th, 2005
Hi
I am not sure if i should use a Coldfire MCF5280 board with uClinux (SSV
embedded) or if i should go for the Netburner boards.
Any recommendations ?
The Netburner boards offer about the same as the uClinux board, but it runs
a Micrium rtos port.
Anyone who would avoid the use of uClinux ?
I need to port an old 8051 app to this platform.
I need a 100ms cyclic thread ,and use serial comm.
Also need remote software upgrade and config through ethernet.
Any hints & recommendations welcome.
Johan
