Activesync does not find my smartphone via USB
Posted by Hippo on November 19th, 2005

Trying to establish connection with my Nokia smartphone 7710. Troubleshooting
says choose menu item "Connection Settings" and check option "Allow USB
Connection". When I am clickin on "Connection Settings" on the menu I get the
same result as when clicking on "Get Connected". Is this a bug in version 3.8
or what? I have tried reinstalling ActiveSync without resolving the problem.

Maybe try the latest ActiveSync 4.1 and check Nokia's web site for
tutorials/help on configuration & setup.
ActiveSync 4.1 Download page:

Hello and thank you for the feedback. I have installed version 4.1 but where
the menuitems seems to work correctly but that does not help to cinnect the
phone. I have also sent an email to Nokia but are still waiting for them to
reply.
