I'm new to using Newsgroups so please excuse this basic question. How can I
find other non-Microsoft Newsgroups to subscribe to, such as Adobe
Photoshop?

Thanks.

Steve

Well, one way is to click "Help" on Photoshop's menu bar and follow the link.
It'll take you to Adobe's Usergroups. Another is to go to Google and do a
search on "Adobe Usergroups" and see what you find.

Your IP (the company through which you get your internet access). should
carry newsgroups that you can search and subscribe too. If you call them
they will be happy to tell you how to set up an account (free).

Adobe newsgroup server: adobeforums.com. You will need to sign up for a free
account.

You could subscribe to the following newsgroups if they are carried on the
news server you connect to:

alt.graphics.photoshop
comp.graphics.apps.photoshop

"comp.graphics.apps.photoshop" is an fantastic PS resource! Actual
Adobe PS engineers populate that newsgroup. There is a wealth of
PS tips, techniques, demonstrations, and books available to you, as
well. Adobe PS is a wonderfully-supported product. Good luck to you!
