Right-click on the menu and choose 'Sort by Name'

Open all programs, right click on an entry, sort by name.

RIGHT click any where in the menu and select SORT BY NAME from the pop up.

You're welcome. The right click context menu can be very helpful in
many situations. It's nice to have easy questions once in a while.

I've been trying to figure that one out for the longest!

as I was taught 15 years ago, and still forget.

One of the most basic principles in computer use.

Perhaps YOU can inform me

how to disable my "balloon hints / helps".

Like the one I get every time select my green "Start"
button. A huge balloon pops up and obscures my Turn Off
Computer button.

TIA

Is there a way to eliminate the "all programs" menu from locking up the
machine?
