Application Focus Settings
Posted by Garrett on March 4th, 2006

I recently installed macromedia flash and it changed these settings. Or at
least I think it was the culprit. Anyway I edited the reg to zero out both
timeout & flash count. When I reboot everything works as should. If I power
down the computer the power up it acts as if the settings weren't at zero.
Checking the reg and all is normal for zero and then reboot and it works fine.

Is there a possible conflict with something on start up thjat would be
different from reboot? This is driving me nuts.

TweaUI has a setting for application focus. If you have it check the
setting. If you don't then why not try it?

Hi Garrett,

After all is set, run the edit on line 54 (right hand side)

When a window that does not have focus is updated by its program, the
default setting prevents it from becoming the foremost (top) window,
instead, it flashes in the taskbar.
