- ASR restore w/bkf file on DVD
- Posted by Lawson Poling, MCSA on October 29th, 2005
Has anyone ever successfully used a DVD disk as the restore point for the bkf
file when doing an ASR restore? Somehow I think it would be problematic.
Thank you for your input.

It works when you do the tkr thing and delete the NAS file.

Could you elaborate on those items a little bit? I'm not familiar with either
one. Frankly, I've never tried buring data files to DVD's. I just know it can
be done.
I was originally concerned that files being marked as Read Only by being on
a CD (and perhaps a DVD) might cause problems but didn't want to put words in
anyone's mouth.
Thanks,
