My computer always turns itself on at midnight automatically, I'd like it to
stop.
I've got windows xp pro. I tried the trouble shoot but I couldn't find
anything.

This has nothing to do with "Windows" since Windows doesn't run after
shutdown. Enter the BIOS setup and check the settings there.
