Can anyone recommend a program (preferably free) which will shutdown my PC a
set time after I leave it UNLESS there is an active download; preferably one
which, on restart, will return desktop as it was on shutdown.

Tried this.
If I have an internet connection live it will not go into hibernation.
But I can't find a way to get the internet connection to stay open while the
download completes and only then disconnect and allow PC to go into
hibernation.
The dialog box which offers the 'disconnect when idle' refers to PC activity
not internet connection activity, so if I leave it running with 'disconnect
when idle' set to 3 mins, and hibernate set to 5 mins, the internet
connection closes after 3 mins coz I haven't used PC but I want it to stay
open while any download is current and only then allow hibernate.
Any ideas?
