Make a batch file script with the following:

shutdown -s

Save it somewhere, then use the task scheduler to run the script everynight
at 12:00AM

If you need extra help plz reply

Give one warning to do so. If not followed, bar the bugger from the pc
for 1 week.

How about telling him / her to go to bed, if that dont work use a belt!

Does not matter if you make a script to shutdown or not after the copmuter
goes down he / she can just start it back up again and it will not shutdown
until midnight the next night .Additionally he / she can just remove the
"scheduled task".

If nothing else move the computer out of his / her room. This is more of a
parenting issue than a "computer problem"
