- Automatic Updates wont run
- Posted by rrowe on November 7th, 2005
I have XP SP2 and am trying to get the Auto Updates to run manually via the
browser. I get to the website, however, the activeX contol won't load (the
pop up blocker is not enabled) so it does ask to be installed. However,
after I click install - I get a page that says 'The website encountered a
problem" try again later.
Any clues?

Yeah, skip the automated BS that only adds another layer of code to
screw up the patching process by learning Common Sense Computing.
