Autoplay (CD/DVD issues)
Posted by drummerboy627 on December 2nd, 2005

When I insert a CD or DVD into one of my two drives, autoplay does not
come up. When I go into My Computer, it just says 'DVD Drive' and
'DVD-RW Drive' respectively. It usually changes to display the CD's
label, or to at least say 'Audio CD' or something like that depending
on the type of the CD inserted. Right now, it doesn't do that, and
there is no autoplay functionality. How can I fix this?

Help is greatly apprectiated
Thanks,
Todd

Download and install Tweak UI from http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx. Open My Computer section (from TweakUI program) and select AutoPlay. There you'll be able to enable AutoPlay for all your CD/DVD drives.
