- avi file, no audio

I have received an AVI file. The video comes in clear but there is no
sound. I have tried numerous codecs. Does anybody have any ideas to
help me solve this issue? thanks again!

Many AVI files do not habe a sound track. Right click that file >
Properties > File info tab > Advanced button.

It is very likely that it has no sound?
Anyway, dl GSpot (google it) and it will tell you exactly what codecs are
needed.
