It's in C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Favorites.

Hello,
Under Internet Explorer, click on file > import and export. This will bring up the import/export
wizard. Follow the instructions thereafter and you can easily backup your IE favourites.

"Favorites" is a collection of URL shortcuts located at:
C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Favorites\
(Assuming "C" is your drive with the Windows XP/IE6 install.)
Copy the contents of this folder elsewhere to back-up your favorites.
