for some reason all of my 3000+pictures load up in the display prop,desktop
browser.when go to change the backgroung pic it takes 1-2 min for the browser
to load up.this has never happened before.how can i delete them and not
delete them from "my pictures"? thanks

Windows XP fetches the image files from the following paths:

BMP Files from %Systemroot% (Windows folder)

BMP, JPG, GIF, JPE, DIB, PNG, HTM files from the following locations:
%Systemroot%\Web\Wallpaper
%USERPROFILE%\My Documents\My Pictures
%AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer
%Programfiles%\Plus!\Themes

If you want to clear a file from that list, move the file away from the
above locations. Type each of the above paths in RUN dialog.
