Bad CD, BadCD Drive, Bad Drivers, Demon?

Or a little guy with a pick axe in my WIN XP HOME that is messing
every thing up.??

I put a CD into the drive, the drive read it and brought up a page of a
few dozen files w/icons. I clicked on SETUP.EXE, everything starting
winding up, I saw a flash of what most likely was a dialog box, but it
was so short in duration I couldn't read it.

So I can't load my program!!

Any tricks, ideas, clues, help, etc?

Mike

Try copying all the files on the CD to your HDD and run setup from there.

Does this happen with all programs or just the one? If just the one,
contact the program mftr. for tech support with their product. If this
happens with all programs on CD's, then please post back with
information about your computer, its virus/malware status, and your
operating system version/service pack level.
