What is the best way to connect to our accounting package on our server from
another office 1km away . What software can I use and what speed must the
link be ? and where can I find info on the product

Assuming you're talking about your work network file server, well you'll need
the following:
- Home DSL/Dialup/Cable connection for your local ISP
- You'll need a VPN/Dialup ip/access numbers from your IT admin
Once everything is set, you can access your work network folders via network
neighborhood and search that particular file server to get access to this
accnting package.
