Can an upgraded bios setting be reverted back to it default setting.
Thanks

Hi Brandon
Thanks for your response,
I mistakenly deleted the original BIOS, (I think is was A13) and in
attempting to retrieve it at the Dell downloads site where I could not find
the A13, I installed an A23 which I thought might help. (I was grasping for
straws). The computer seems to be working fine and I think I should really
leave well enough alone I'm just curious to find out if the default setting
is an option.
OS WinXPHomeEd upgraded from WinXPME. Dell Inspiron 4000.
Thanks again

Best to ask the hardware tech support, it's not an XP OS issue.

Yes. Assuming you've saved the current bios.
