Block Ctrl-Alt-Del, Windows key-Combinations, Alt-F4, Alt-Tab, etc.during program execution
Posted by Björn Eilers on October 20th, 2005

Hi everyone,

for an e-learning assessment tool I am looking for a way to block a
number of key presses during the execution of this tool. This is to
prevent student writing a test with this software from cheating, e.g. by
using Windows-E to start some application from the explorer.
Currently, only Windows XP is in discussion for this tool.

I have heard that there seem to be some DLL calls in user32.dll or in
the Win32 API that can do this, however, even though I did some net
research I did not find too much on this topic.

Could someone of you please point me in the right direction or tell me
which calls I will need?

Thank you very much in advance and best regards,
Bjoern
