blue screen after window update/ kernel32. dll relocation
Posted by Shortie_chic92 on January 24th, 2006

Somebody help me please. I just installed window updates to my computer. I
restarted it and a blue screen came up. it said

"Stop: c0000269
Illegal System DLL relocation: The system DLL Kernel32.dll was relocated in
memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occurred
because the DLL C:\Windows\System\MPR.dll occupied an address range reserved
for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for
a new DLL."

Now my computer doesn't work. I tried safe mode, boot floppy, and everything
else. I talked to the microsoft technical support people and they said i have
to use the window xp pro disc. Is there any other ways to fix this
problem???? Because i don't have the disc.

Please help. Thank you
