Hi I have a problem with machine running XP Home where it is constantly
rebooting, can't get to safe mode or anything, are there suggested ways of
dealing with this issue?
Thanks in advance

Further to this problem when I run the repair facility thru the WinXP
install CD I have to load a special driver as the Motherboard has an onboard
Promise Fastrak ATA133 Raid controller on it (the disks are striped), when I
get to the console and run checkdisk the reply is "The Volume appears to
coontain one or more unrecoverable problems" Is there anything else I can
try or is this a reinstall.
Cheers Gerard

Test your hard drives with a diagnostic utility from the drive mftr.'s
website. Make a bootable floppy or cd with the download and boot your
computer with the media. Do a thorough test. If either drive has
physical errors, replace it.

I had the same problem this past weekend. I finally booted from the CD and
had to re-intall XP. This solved my problem. I had no hardware problems.
