I'm trying to help out a friend who writes:
"
I thought this XP Prof job was going too well - even got Television working
for a few minutes. It has all come apart.
I ended up with an error message could not trace, so formatted the
partition. I am STILL getting the same message:
STOP: c0000221 Unknown hard error
\System Root\system32\ntd11.dll
I can boot to the 2Gb Win98 partition at the front opf the drive, but am
dumped with the stated error message if I try to boot from CD to reinstall..
Any ideas?"
Does anyone have any idea what can be causing this please. It is beyond the
limit of my knowledge.
Thanks
