- Buffer Full Error With Ethernet Card
- Posted by MNGoldenEagle on October 27th, 2005
I'm uncertain as to why this is happening, but after roughly four days of
leaving the computer on I end up getting "Buffer Full" error messages with
every program that tries using the Internet. This mainly started happening
after I began hosting my own IRC server. I have investigated a bit and have
discovered that the RCP service is using up a huge chunk of virtual memory
(currently at 264,568KB), which is of significant concern to me because I
have Firefox as well, which is also a huge memory hog.
I'm not entirely certain if the two are related, but I would like to know if
either of these are correctable.
