can Firewall block ftp ports

I need to block ftp ports with windows firewall, is this possible, how can i
do???

You'd be wise to take a look at a firewall called ZoneAlarm:
www.zonelabs.com. Not sure if the free version allows you to block specific
ports, but the $35-ish version certainly does. And, it can also block
programs which attempt to access those ports.

I have a smiliar question....


I have a situation where I only want to block a specific set of ports,
but want to let in all other traffic...

making policies for this is impossible because you cannot specify a
port range

is there a way that I can... say for example block TCP port 22 or UDP
port 53 and allow all other traffic... like exceptions but in reverse
