Can I assign Hotkeys to Launch Applications?
Posted by Uncle Joe on October 27th, 2005

MS XP (Home) running on 1.6 GHz PC with 1 GB DDR RAM; two 7200 RPM
IDE HDs; Nvida GEforce3 TI200 graphics card with 64 MB DDR RAM; 19"
monoitor. Office 2003, Frontpage 2003, Photoshop 7.01, IE6, OE6.

Is it possible to assign hotkeys to launch applications (i.e., Google
Earth) on
demand? If so, how? Thank you. Yes, I know I can add programs to
Quick Launch but would prefer to use Hotkey such as CTL-WIN-7 to
launch certain apps.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Right click the shortcut or start menu link used to access the application,
select properties. Click in the area for "shortcut key", then hit the
hotkeys you wish to use for that application. Click apply/ok to complete the
setup.

Thank you. Guess I overlooked that simple
solution. (Blush.)
