Can’t see Active Directory
Posted by João Gonçalves on April 5th, 2006

Hi all,

I can’t see Active Directory (My Network Places, Entire Network, Directory)
in Windows Explorer on a Windows XP Professional SP2 computer. But I can see
it on a Windows 2000 Professional SP4 computer.

Can someone help me about this issue? Thanks.

It's disabled on purpose. You can create a AD Search shortcut with the
following comand line

"%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe dsquery,OpenQueryWindow"

without the quotes.
