- Cannot delete "found.000" file created by aborted chkdsk
- Posted by Paul Barasoa on September 29th, 2005
A few days ago I started a chkdsk run on a external USB harddisc.
After a while I noticed that this run will last approc 40 hours. So I aborted this chkdsk prgm.
Unfortuantely a file found.000 remains on the disk which I cannot delete.
Does someone know a method of getting rid this file?
