cannot get rid of a window that opens every time I startup?

I recently got broadband but when I used the installation disk provided to
setup the broadband account there was a problem with installation. I
eventually got setup by calling the broadband provider and they guided me
through the setup without using the disk provided. But now every time I
startup the PC a window appears on the desktop asking me to insert my
installation CD the finish the installation. I inserted the disk but when I
do this it simple trys to close installation process again and just sits on
closing indefinatly. How can I get rid of this window without having to close
it every time I start up.

If you have Comcast, you can uninstall their software and just connect
the modem. Verizon DSL also lets you skip the software -- just call
tech support for help. I found that the software is really just an
annoyance and doesn't really do anything! I've been running Comcast
without it for a couple of years and have no problems.
