When I try to install Adobe Photoshop Elements i cant. I put the disk in and
I get this msg saying "AutoPlay encountered a problem and needs to close."
So then I go to My Computer, and click on the D drive and click open, find
setup, and click open and I get this error:
".\AutoPlay\LangData\en_us\lang.dat" And the top of the box of this erros msg
says " Invalid Unicode file"


Whats wrong with my cd? Its basically new, we bought it, i installed it
once, then i recently restored the comp so i was gonna re-install it... nad
this happens.

I have had variations of this same problem installing graphics
programs--greeting cards, etc. -- with varying error messages. I CANNOT
get an answer. My OS was also re-installed. I looked into the depths and
found references like "lost your lease to IP address 71.117.12.219" or "was
not assigned an address..." but of course I can't understand what that
means. CAN ANY ONE HELP US?? Angela, I'll bet a nickel it isn't your
CD. My friend was successful installing my CD and running the program on
her comp with Win XP Solchen

Hi

You try copying the contents of the Cd to a temporary folder on the Hard
disk and run setup from the temporary folder.
Sol one:---

TO do this
Open Mycomputer
Right click the cd drive Icon and select explore
When the window opens, copy everything in the window and paste it on any
folder on the HDD.

Hope this resolves your issue

Are you closing all your backgrounnd apps as required? Or are you just
crossing your fingers and hoping for the best.
