- Cannot re-enable Windows Components
- Posted by Gordon on February 22nd, 2006
I unchecked several boxes to disable several Windows Components and did not
realize there were sub-directories. I would like to re-enable them, however,
it asks for a Windows XP Home disc. As this is a Toshiba OEM version
notebook I do not have a disc. System Restore point is gone as well.
Is there anyway to enable those features? Tks, Gordon

If the Toshiba install put an I386 folder on your computer, point the
dialog box search to it. Otherwise, you will need an XP Home OEM disk.
A professional computer repair shop will have one and can do the work
for you.
