cannot read CD-RW
Posted by Gordie on December 29th, 2005

While moving a file from my hard drive to a CD-RW, I realized that the disk
did not have the capacity for this video file, so I cancelled the operation.
Now I cannot read the data files that were there. In its place are 3 files
:autorun.inf, udfrchk.exe, udfinst.zl and the disk name in Explorer is now
UDFREADER(D.
I'm running XP SP2. All other CD-RW disks are readable. Thanks for any help.

Hi,

Sounds like your cancellation corrupted the TOC, there are some recovery
tools out there you can try:
