- Cannot remove deleted User Profile iicon from welcome screen
- Posted by Mike on March 17th, 2006
First I deleted User Profile on Control Panel>system>advanced It did not
complete the task, error box said the subfolders were not empty. However, it
removed the name out of the User profile box.
I then went to documents and settings and deleted the uswer profile and
subfolders.
The User Profile Icon is still on Welcome page. If you click it, it sets up
a new system for that User Profile. I went back and delted everything agin,
but the icon reamins on the welcome page.
I would appreciate help - thanks.
